Eliminate dimensional rejects and torque failures — precise 2H hex nut dimensions with verified hex nut prevailing torque data for procurement managers, QC engineers, and supply chain professionals sourcing from Asia.
✅ ISO 9001 | ✅ CCC | ✅ CE | ✅ RoHS | ✅ 26 years export experience
When your supplier’s 2H hex nut dimensions deviate by even 0.1mm, or the hex nut prevailing torque falls below spec, the ripple effects hit your bottom line — hard.
Dimensional rejects from Asian suppliers average 1 in 3 batches — costing buyers $12,000+ per rejected container (source: Industry QC benchmarks, 2025).
Of procurement managers report prevailing torque inconsistency in grade 2H hex nuts, leading to assembly line stoppages and warranty claims.
The global industrial fasteners market in 2025 — yet QC failures in hex nuts alone account for an estimated $2.3B in annual rework and delays.
🔍 Your pain point: You need a supplier who delivers 2H hex nut dimensions within ±0.005" every time, with guaranteed hex nut prevailing torque that meets ASTM A563 Grade 2H — not a "close enough" approximation.
At Handan Guanbiao (Maxfastener), we manufacture Grade 2H hex nuts that meet or exceed ASTM A563, ISO 898-2, and SAE J995. Every batch is tested for hex nut prevailing torque and dimensional compliance.
Continuous hex nut production since 2000

The hex nut prevailing torque is the resistance to rotation measured after the nut has been seated. For Grade 2H, ASTM A563 specifies minimum torque values after 1st, 3rd, and 5th reuses.
1st run torque: Typically 12–85 N·m depending on size (see table above).
5th run torque: Must not drop below 70% of 1st run value — our nuts consistently achieve 82–88% retention.
Test method: ISO 2320 prevailing torque test — we perform 100% lot sampling.
Our 2H hex nut dimensions and hex nut prevailing torque specs are validated across demanding environments:
🔧 Automotive assembly (BEV platforms): 30.4% of global fastener output serves automotive — our 2H nuts are used in battery enclosure fastening for EV platforms in Germany and China.
🏗️ Construction & infrastructure: Asia Pacific accounts for 45.1% of fastener revenue — our nuts are specified in highway and rail projects across India and Southeast Asia.
⚙️ Heavy machinery & petrochemical: High-tensile alloy Grade 2H nuts withstand extreme pressure and temperature cycles.
Our 2H hex nuts are procured by:

✅ CCC ✅ CE ✅ RoHS

For M16 Grade 2H hex nut: width across flats = 24.0 mm, width across corners = 27.7 mm, height = 14.8 mm, thread pitch = 2.0 mm. These 2H hex nut dimensions are held to ±0.005" in our production. Full imperial equivalents are available in our QC data sheet.
Per ASTM A563 and ISO 2320, the hex nut prevailing torque is measured on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th run. The 1st run torque must be within spec, and the 5th run must not drop below 70% of the 1st run. Our Grade 2H nuts typically retain 82–88% of initial torque after 5 runs.
Yes. We offer OEM/ODM customization — non-standard 2H hex nut dimensions, special thread forms, and tailored hex nut prevailing torque limits. Our 15+ in-house engineers with average 10 years experience can develop custom solutions within 2 weeks.
Standard MOQ is 500 pcs per size, but we offer sample orders (50–100 pcs) for QC validation. For large-volume contracts, we can produce 500,000+ pcs/month with consistent 2H hex nut dimensions and hex nut prevailing torque.
We maintain a 3-month raw material buffer and have diversified shipping routes via Tianjin and Shanghai ports. Typical lead time to USA/Europe is 25–35 days. "We switched to Maxfastener for our Grade 2H hex nuts after recurring dimensional rejects from our previous Asian supplier. Their 2H hex nut dimensions are consistently within ±0.005", and the hex nut prevailing torque data on every lot gives our QC team full confidence. Reject rate dropped from 12% to 0.3%."

"For our BEV assembly line fasteners, we required Grade 2H nuts with exacting hex nut prevailing torque specs. Maxfastener's engineering team worked with us to validate the torque values across 5 reuse cycles. The consistency is remarkable — 86% torque retention after 5 runs. They are now our sole supplier for this category."

"Infrastructure projects demand zero compromise on fastener quality. Maxfastener's 2H hex nut dimensions are fully traceable, and their hex nut prevailing torque certifications meet our stringent QC protocols. 26 years of experience shows in their product consistency and delivery reliability."

"In petrochemical environments, fastener failure is not an option. Maxfastener's Grade 2H hex nuts have been tested in our high-corrosion, high-temperature applications. The hex nut prevailing torque held steady even after thermal cycling. Fast delivery to the Middle East too — 28 days from order to site."
